As I prepare this update, I look back at the past 3 years, and can hardly believe all the different things we have had to experience.  Through it all the Lord has been faithful. Let me share a few things that had us at times stretched.

Covid 19 arrived and seemed to take over the calendars of most people, organizations and Governments. Travel became almost impossible, and the gatherings of people restricted so severely that business were closed, schools shut down, church gatherings forbidden, and every norm of life affected. Throughout the whole world millions of people suffered and died. Fear was growing in the hearts of most as all they heard for a very long time was bad news. But in the midst of all this was a stabilizing force, that force was FAITH. Yes faith in God! Faith in His love and power and faithfulness. The people of faith through out the world became the voice of calm and hope. The word of God teaches the true believers are the light of this world. They shine in the darkness and light the way with hope, patience and love. They become the servants to the fearful and distraught, and with their words create peace, and guidance and strength in the midst of the storm.

As for our ministry OLM (One Life Ministries) was one of those stabilizing forces. Our pastors were caring for their members and encouraging them to reach out to their neighbors and help them in way possible. They prayed with many who were afraid and also who were sick. ..... Our feeding programs for our children which is about 3000 children were not allowed to gather for feeding so we created a system of food deliveries to each area. We were able to do this in our ministry vehicles through our Radio stations numbering 9 as we became the voice of news on the air for the Government agencies. The government allowed us as Media, access into any area. Besides our feeding the children we were able to deliver thousands of pounds of rice and other foods, and even medicines to communities throughout the island. We became one of the lights in the darkness for many.
Things are now at about 75% norm. Travel has once again is enabled in the country. There are still restrictions to travel into country. Food shortages are real but getting better and we can once again operate our feeding programs with very little restriction. Through our Radio broadcast many came to Christ and we were able expand into new areas and begin many home churches. The scripture also says, "The gates of Hell shall not prevail against the church of Jesus Christ:" Matt. 16:18 .
Though the past 3 years have been a stretch they have been fruitful. Thank you to all our supporters who believe in what we are doing. Thank You for your prayers and generosity that enables us to do what we know our Lord has asked us to do. As we continue forward due to growth and inflation our resources need to increase. Please pray with us for increase.

Christmas Gifts for Children

12/31/2019

This holiday season, we were once again able to give the children we feed Christmas gifts. They had a celebration time, at each location filled with singing, games, presents and food. The only way we were able to accomplish this is because of each of you who have given.  Thank you for joining us in this; we would not have been able to do it alone. Below are few videos that were taken this year during the celebrations. Please take a moment and enjoy them.
Blessings to you in this New Year!

Earthquakes in the Philippines

11/15/2019

Over the last month, our friends and partners in the Philippines on Mindanao Island have been dealing with 5-15 earthquakes each day. Recently they have been hit with a 6.4 earthquake hit the province of North Cotabato (about 50 kilometers
from GenSan), a 6.6 and a 6.5. All of these have been hitting an area that is still trying clean up from the previous ones.
There have been so much damage and it is difficult to know damage due to buildings collapsing, landslides, etc but we know that the death toll will rise as the cleanup continues. We have been made aware that one of our pastors lost family members as the mountain gave way.
From our One Life partners in the area, we have gotten reports of the needs and they are great! People have lost so much and don't know what to do.
What can you do?
1. Pray. Please pray for these people who are hurting, grieving their losses and are fearful of what might come. Prayer is not the "least we can do", it truly is the greatest thing we can do.
2. Give. You can donate now to help these people who have lost so much. Simply go to the "Donate" page in the menu above, click the "donate" button which will direct you to the Tithe.ly giving page. Under "giving type", select "Philippines Disaster Relief" with your tax deductible donation. These donations will go to purchase food, clean water, clothing, tents, tarps, blankets and other basic necessities as they have lost everything.

One Life Ministries Update

10/8/2018

Dear friends,

It is quickly heading towards one year since Janet had her aneurysm. According to all statistics and the words of her doctors she should not be alive.
It was a night I never want to live again, yet through it all we both have discovered deeper understandings of God’s faithfulness, love, grace and mercy. We have seen and experienced the truth of the power of prayer. We have been touched it our hearts and minds of the unfailing love our Heavenly Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ and the comfort of the ever present Holy Spirit.
Thank you all, and each one for your steadfast prayers and intercession, for your undaunted pursuit of God’s healing power for Janet. We are indebted to your faithful support. Thank you again.

Headed to the Philippines
Soon I head once again to the Philippines. The ministry continues to grow as our workers faithfully pursue God’s will and His power to accomplish all He desires. I am counting on your prayers during this very important time with our Church Planting leaders and our feeding program personnel.Let me give you a quick snap shot of what has been happening.

Church Planting
The Holy Spirit has been moving so powerfully that it is difficult to share all that is going on. The increase of 30 more churches has occurred since our last news letter. We now have 179 church plants that are alive and dispensing the Gospel in some of the most remote places on Mindanao Island. We receive regular reports of the increase of the healings and salvations and baptisms. Reports are coming in of how the Muslim communities are opening to the message of the Father heart of God. Many Muslim farmers are tired of the years of fighting and promoting fear that only causes pain to their own families. Pray with us for these Muslim families that the eyes of their understanding would be opened, and that they come into the glorious hope that we as born again believers possess.
I will be visiting some of these areas on this trip to encourage our workers and partners in faith to not give up and to continue in their calling. We will also spend time equipping them in leadership training and giving them resources to help them develop their churches.

Feeding program, "Food for Life"
“When you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto me.” It is these words spoken by the Lord Jesus that has been our theme for 15 years of feeding malnourished children. Beginning with 50 children and now growing to a number of 5000 (approximate) meals per month is outstanding. Thank you for your support of these children. We truly believe you will receive a reward by God for your giving.

I have a desire, like you, to reach the innocent. The programs we run are great yet we need to do more. Some of our areas only receive one meal per week from us. They need more! We are asking GOD FOR MORE SUPPLY SO WE CAN HELP REMOVE THE TERRIBLE EFFECTS OF MALNUTRITION.

Our children are blessed because of you our supporters. When you give to Food for Life, all we receive goes directly to the children. We have no paid employees or expense items that we need to take a portion of your generous giving. 100% goes to children.

For online giving: onelifemin.com, click "Donate" and follow the instructions through Tithe.ly. There will be a 3% charge from the credit card company that processes the transaction. This cost we can not eliminate.
You can also send a check by mail and it will go into the account for distribution. Please send to:

Please attach a note directing your gift. ie: One Life Ministries or Food for Life or Church Planting

Radio Broadcast
One Life radio FM is broadcasting 24/7 Christian music and teaching. Our 3000 watt transmitter has been installed and is working hard. The radio station is one of strongest means to reach the lost. In the city taxi cab drivers are tuned to our broadcasts. Thousands of young college students are tuning in and are encouraged in their life by the positive message of hope that is broadcasted every day. Thank you for your support of this vital ministry.
We are excited about our newest venture of beginning a totally tribal radio station. We are already gathering tribal pastors we are in fellowship with and inviting them to teach on the air. We will also play tribal worship music in several dialects for their spiritual growth and enjoyment. This is a first on the island as thousands of tribals people will have the opportunity to here the gospel in their own language and teaching to help them grow in the knowledge of God. Many who will have access to this have no church in their village and the radio is their connection to Christian community around them. Our radio station is in need of updating our antenna. If you would like to help with this just earmark that with a note or message as you give. Thank you for your help.

India - Church Plant and Home for Abandoned Youth.
Our church plant in India has grown as Pastor Vimal and Hannah his wife faithfully serve their community. It has been a very hard year for them thus far. They were asked to leave their home they rented from their Hindu landlord and had no place to live with their 2 boys. They moved into the abandoned children home they had started.
There are fifteen girls living their who are being cared for by Vimal’s mother who was also sickly Vimal and the family lived or slept in the hallway of the home as that was the space which was open. Persecution and sickness has attacked them for these many months. Hannah almost died from complications and Vimal has suffered very high blood pressure from the stress. After much prayer the Lord showed me a home in my prayers. It was a large home big enough for their family and the children. I encouraged them to look for this place and God showed them. They now all live together in one home which financially has helped as it is only one rent. Praise God for his provision. I am believing for a permanent home and land owned by the ministry. Renting leaves you at the mercy of your Landlords which are all Hindu in their village. All land is owned by the Hindus and the Christians are held down from ownership. We need a miracle from our Lord. Please pray with us for this miracle. If you desire to help this couple and their abandoned children’s home please earmark your giving with the word, India. Thank you.

End of the Year Giving

Please consider a tax deductible gift to our Ministry, we promise every penny will go to the selection you choose to support. Remember we take no administration fees out, all is sent to the field. What are we doing?...These pictures will tell you the story. Feeding the hungry children, building and planting churches, taking the gospel too far unreached tribes, broadcasting through radio the encouraging word of God, building and adding new radio stations. Schools of training that develop the future leaders of nations. Thank you for your prayers and help.

John 4:35 "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest."

The gospel is going out to those Who would never hear it’s had not been for people like Pastor Grace. Pastora Grace has a heart for the lost and a love for her people, especially the youth. You see her here traveling over the mountains taking the message of the good news wherever she goes. The pictures will show the youth following her in a long stream, as she goes, they stay with her, she cares for them and they with her preach the gospel to those who never heard it. This is love in action, Not only will she teach the children, she also will feed them physical food, as many would go hungry, even to the point of becoming sick if it was not for the ministry of sister Grace. This month we are spotlighting sister Grace on our blog. How can you honor her by going to the "donate" button and sharing a little of your resources to food for life or to church planting, this is a way we can put your love in action and honor this sister who lays down her life every day for the Lord and for her people.

Philippines update October 2016

Update Philippines Ministry.
I left word at the hotel desk for a wake up call as we needed to be on the road by 4:45 AM.. I thought I might sleep through my alarm so I had the wake up call for a back up…… I needed neither as I could not sleep soundly as I was aware of the Holy Spirit speaking to me concerning the people I would be meeting about11:30 that morning.  The ride was exciting, long and grueling. The last 15 miles there was no road, one was just being built but not finished. We had to travel over the stones and ruts and mud next to the area that was being built. The climb up was very steep and the mammoth cargo truck we transferred into slowly made it to where we needed to go. …….Our driver was excellent and knew how to navigate all the really bad spots.
There was perhaps 150  people waiting for us, The church building was one of the nicest buildings in the area. It was finished concrete floor and windows and a sound system that worked. The inside was decorated nicely. … The place was packed with people and many outside around the building waiting to see and hear the foreigner. … You see I discovered I was the first foreigner to visit that area in 30 years. ….. I was greeted by the captain of the Buranguy of the area and was made welcome. He was the authority of the area and when I greeted him with hand shake and hug I could feel and see the 45 cal pistol under His shirt. His authority came to church with him, ha ha, I spoke on creation and the origin of all things. I explained how all was affected by the entrance of sin, which brought the power of death into the world. How Jesus Christ came to bring them Life, Eternal life, life more abundantly. We talked about How Jesus was God. The son of God given in Love for the forgiveness and restoration of man, and their need of Him,(John 3:16-17 )  We spoke of faith, and its operation in them. We spoke of the fullness of belief in Jesus and those who believed fully into Him had the right to become the sons of God; (John 1:12). We then asked who believed in this Jesus Christ and who would recognize their need of His forgiveness and repent of their sins and invite Him into their life and receive a new life.  About 75 or so persons answered in faith as they pressed forward to confess and receive. I stepped aside and asked my interpreter to lead them in prayer. Sally Tolson whom I have known for 16 years lead them in Prayer as Sally is a woman of faith who I am indebted to as she is the true communicator to them as she interprets so they can fully understand.
I want to thank all of you who have been praying for me during this trip. This is just a sample of the past 12 days here which has been jammed packed with ministry of all kinds. I could not do this with out your prayers and financial aide. Thank you.
I was informed yesterday that our, Food for Life, feeding program and our Church Planting accounts are critically low.  Our expansion has outgrown our income flow. Yes it is a beautiful problem we are facing. Our 30 Church plantings this year, and the increase of 6 new feeding programs with more hungry children is a beautiful stretching of faith. If you are not currently partnering with us in feeding hungry children, or planting churches in Muslim infiltrated areas, we ask you to please consider an offering to help us finish 2016 in the black and also the start of 2017 with a reserve of 3 months in our accounts. We will need to have end of the year giving to amount of $30,000 dollars to accomplish this. This does not include any special projects we will be asked to consider along the way.
Our special projects list is as following”
1. A rented facility for our offices in General Santos, large enough to house
a. Inner city church planting.
b. Enough space to house conferences of 3 to 500 persons.
c. Multipurpose in design so it can be rented for weddings and other functions when not being used by our own needs.
d. Supplied office space for other ministries such human trafficking.
We are currently looking at a space of 3300 sq ft which includes several large offices and then an open space for conference and training center.  We need to train up Pastors, teachers, evangelist, and prophets. Men and women called out to serve the lord in these offices. (I will partner with others in this training of leaders.)
2. Motor Bikes for our Church planters.
a. Many of our Church planters are walking many, many miles over rough terrain, to visit the works they are overseeing and have begun. One Pastor travels all week among his 10 church’s that He oversees and trains for us.  We have a goal of 5 motor bikes next year. Each will cost 1500.00. These are off road bikes able to handle the punishment of the mountain terrain.
Our greatest desire is the increase of feeding days for our feeding areas. Some areas we are only feeding once a week. To effectively make a difference in the health of a child we need to feed them one meal per day everyday. We need more as personnel to help us raise money for these children.  We need volunteers who will reach out into churches, Sunday school programs, missions programs, and grants and charitable foundations. Please pray with us that the Lord will provide these volunteers to us.
If you have read all this you are truly gracious, thank you.
